Hello Ladies,
Interesting that you all should mention that it is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Domestic Violence Awareness month. This past Saturday, my sorority and I volunteered at a Domestic Violence shelter called SafeHouse. We helped do some chores around the house as well as do some painting in a few of the rooms. We learned about the house and the things they provide for the women
and men that come there. It made me feel sad that this happens to women and men. But at the same time, I was very glad that the women and men that were there, got to the house before something
extremely terrible happened to them.
Also, my sorority and I attended a Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Ball the same evening. Of course, all proceeds went towards the research of finding a cure for breast cancer. It was a great event and I was so happy to see soooo many people attend
Just thought I'd share my weekend since it was related to the topic
