Yes, University of North Texas did used to be North Texas State. Epsilon Omega chapter was open from 1969-1989.
Based on irishpipes' thread and not knowing what the housing situation is at the schools, I'd see Baylor opening before SMU, as well as possibly Texas A&M and TCU, if growth continues, but I guess we'll see. Doesn't appear that UNT has a large enough system at the moment to support another chapter, but that's just my opinion coming from a chapter that went from 164 to ~230.
I'd rather see our resources at Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, UGA, and Clemson
