I would have to say that the worst trend (and it has nothing to do with fashion) is the whole Politically Correct deal. All it is, IMO, is sugar coating what you really want to say. You can't be REAL anymore, b/c reality is not PC.
Not to mention, it's lightweight controlling. Don't say this, say that. Don't do this, do that. It keeps a lot of stuff hidden, and unknown. That breeds fear. I could go on and on, I'll just stop that now, lol.
But if you want to talk fashion, it definitely has to be this gold-tooth thing. One, okay, I might give you that. But a whole mouthful? You look ridiculous.
