Bid Day!
We could pick up and accept our bid cards from the GLO anytime after 1pm, but I had classes until 3 or 4. Bid day parties would be at the chapter houses at 7pm when strict silence ends. I spent the day wishing and hoping to open my envelope and see Monica, but also telling myself that if I got Rachel I would be fine. It’s been a long time, but I still remember the feeling of butterflies in my stomach all day and walking up to the GLO office. They dug through and pulled out my bid card and when I opened the envelope it said….

I definitely made some kind of noise, and when the GLO director asked if I accepted my bid I screamed of course! I still have my bid card and am tearing up a bit remembering my joy when I opened it.
