My high school got a step team a few years ago (right after I graduated in 96). My dad is a teacher there and he complains about them all the time because a)they are horriable and 2) they try to act ghetto. I have tried to explain to him that stepping is really neat to watch if the team is good. He has never believed me, but last monday he called me to say he saw this show on TV. He said he was impressed because a)the teams were all MUCH better then what he sees at school and b)the steppers carry themselves with class, yet again something he does not see. It's suprising that something like a TV show can change someone's opinion so much. Keep in mind my dad is a 62 year old white guy who grew up in small town Indiana
