I have family and friends who work at other colleges, and they are also optimistic. Chicago State has other problems unrelated to funding, so their path to recovery may be difficult.

My stepson graduated from a town very close to Charlestown, and many in his class went to schools in Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin. He bucked the trend and stayed in Illinois. He's at DePaul.
