From the Kappa Kappa Gamma national website:
"Congratulations to the 29 members of the charter class of Eta Xi Chapter at UC Merced. Kappa's 136th chapter was installed on April 25th, 2009. Congratulations and welcome, Eta Xi!"
In addition, Eta Nu Chapter at Santa Clara was installed on Janaury 10th, 2009.
KKG has not had any closings this year.
