I usually use the number of views to help me determine whether to report it: usually, I'll report the ones with a relatively low # of views. However, when the topic is clearly porn, there have been several views, and the thread has been around for hours, I'll almost always click it to report it. I reported the one in question hours ago (and, thankfully, it's been taken care of).
