[I]With great sadness, the Governing Council of Chi Omega Fraternity announces the closing of Iota Zeta Chapter of Chi Omega at University of Nebraska at Kearney effective April 27, 2009.
After several years of decreasing membership, the chapter finds itself with too many chapter responsibilities and too few members to sustain operations. Membership in Chi Omega is for a lifetime. Therefore, our collegiate members have been given the opportunity to have alumnae status in Chi Omega. . . . [/}
