some random ideas

At a retreat (setting was a county park large cabin)... there were several things going on at the same time and members rotated through the areas:

1) craft making area - making badge boxes
2) adviser question area
3) open (recess, outside if weather is nice, snacks provided)
4) sisterhood exercises (example below)

For sisterhood exercises, the favorite was using a large piece of paper (like from a flipchart), taping each to the walls around the room, with just a member's name at the top, each member is given a marker, told to stand by her paper, but to start out, each member moves to the next paper, and asked to write something positive about the person who's name is at the top, then after a few minutes, everyone advances to the next paper, etc, etc,. At the end, the member stops at her own paper and can read what everyone wrote about her. The goal is also for people to avoid repeating comments already written down. So, at each "stop", the member has to read everything already written down, and then think of something else positive to write down.

Good luck !
