St. Jude Hospital Receives $15 Million from Delta Delta Delta
Over three years ago Delta Delta Delta began a campaign to build a new wing for St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The slogan for the fundraising was "15 in 5". It was announced today the goal has been met in 3 1/2 years! Alumnae and collegiate chapters across the country and in Canada have raised funds through all sorts of events from flipping pancakes to dodgeball competitions.
In an earlier campaign Tri Deltas earned funds to provide a teen center and assist in other services to teen patients. Another $10 million was raised to name the children's care floor.
Danny Thomas's daughter, Terre, is an initiated member of Delta Delta Delta.
Congratulations to those Tri Deltas who have worked to fight pediatric cancer!
