At my alma mater, there is little to no coordination with Greek Affairs and University Housing or the Residence Hall Association. The one nice thing is that Housing does extend their deadline for cancelling housing contracts for freshman guys that choose to live in the fraternities their freshman year (we have summer rush, so the guys sign early enough to do this). And they do allow freshmen women going through recruitment to move into the dorms earlier than the other residents. Other than that they might co-sponsor major campus wide events like Homecoming or Welcome Weekend stuff, but other than that not so much. It's not a hostile relationship by any means, but it's not amazingly cooperative either - in part because it doesn't need to be.

In case you were wondering, our chapter houses are large - the sororities average over 90 spots and the fraternities range in size from 45 to 88 spots.
