I am the only Greek in my family. My little sister rushed (at the time there was only one national on her campus alongside two locals, so it was informal rush) a national sorority and was not given a bid. Apparently a couple of nationals colonized her senior year and if I had known I would have made her rush
but I didn't find out until later.
None of my aunts, uncles, cousins, anybody was Greek. I'm not likely to have kids, either, so no legacies.
