Dear President and Vice President of (Club),

Perhaps you haven't realized this yet, but the 40+ hours of work I do for you a week is VOLUNTEER. Translation: I don't have to do this s**t if I don't feel like it. I do it because I support the cause and its something to keep me busy, but seriously running around putting up flyers is not my preferred way to spend the break between my classes. Our meeting is this week, the flyers were printed last week, why the hell were they not up three days ago? Right, because you want me to run around and do it while you sit at our table and shoot the breeze with whoever stops by. I'm getting real tired of you guys expecting me to be at your beck and call to do random busywork or promoting for meetings instead of studying/sleeping/whatever. Please recognize that I do this on my own time and for free, and give credit where credit is due. Either that, or find yourselves a new Treasurer for next semester.

Sincerely Yours,
Preston327

P.S. Never call me on Thanksgiving to bitch about our flyers when I'm 150 miles away ever again, especially when I told you beforehand that I wasn't dealing with club business over my holiday.

P.P.S. Ms. President I know I lost your flash drive and screwed up but leaving nasty comments on my facebook isn't going to get it back. I've offered to replace it, take the damn offer and shut the hell up.

When I call your place of business I expect a human being to answer not a computer!

So, i remembered i am enrolled in my bank's rewards program. have been for about 4-5 years. ive accumulated a lot of points. alas! perhaps i CAN gift myself for the holidays this year, thus getting what i really want - a Wii.

provided i can even USE a cash gift card (Mastercard/Visa logo) on a Wii (because some stores dont allow that, esp during the holidays), here are my options (i have a little over 18,000 points):

best buy: $50 card for 6,000 points
Visa debit card: $100 for 14,000 points
cash: $100 (i suppose it would be a check) for 16,000 points

or is there a better use of my points? what would you suggest? the option to pay off a credit card would only make a small dent in what i actually owe.

I have never heard of that, or experienced it (Visa giftcards are the standard gift in my fanily, so I've gone through MANY). A Visa/Mastercard giftcard is just like a credit card. Why on earth would a store not let you use one?

you act like she went to McDonalds eating a Whopper. ooh, blasphemy! most movie theaters where i live dont allow outside food, so i always find it a plus when there is a theater that doesnt mind. if im going to pay upwards of $10 on concession food, buying fast food cant be any worse. a medium sized popcorn can be as much as 1200 calories, not including butter, salt and other toppings.

I can't believe you actually took the time and energy to NOT SIT NEAR HER while she ate. did you seriously wait for her to finish, got up mid-movie, and then sat next to her? that's just as obnoxious on your part.

No, it's not that. It's just that I think it's kinda annoying to hear someone going through a fast food paper bag behind me, next to me or in front of me. I just didn't want people to look back at us, annoyed. So, I waited until she was done. I've never seen any movie theaters that allow outside food to be eaten in the theater, that's one reason why I don't get why people do that. She hides it, that's how she gets in. She didn't this time because she knows I don't like it. No, we got there early, so she was done eating it before the previews even started. It might sound insane to you, but it doesn't to me.

I agree...that IS annoying...either eat before or after the flick..if you are that pressed buy theater food.

Smuggle in candy not a whole dayum meal.

Not as tacky as refusing to sit with your friend, and then moving mid-movie.

I didn't move mid-movie. I said she was done before the previews started.
