We walked out of the store at that point.

Your story reminds me of the asshat salesman at Toyota of Greenwich (Connecticut - yes I am naming the dealership) who belittled me for being female.

I was with my husband. We decided to test drive a RAV4. They photocopied DH's license and he began the test drive. After a few minutes, DH asked me if I wanted to take the wheel. The salesman said, "You drive?" as if the concept of a woman with a driver's license was completely alien to him. When I finished the test drive, he said, "You pass." Yeah, asshat, I passed my road test over a decade ago in a city where many people refuse to drive.

I wrote a nasty letter to the dealership (no response, naturally) and we bought a Nissan.

Dear someone on ebay,

Buy my old iPod. I am trying to be an awesome fiance and get his xbox fixed for his birthday (you would think I would love it that he can no longer waste hours playing COD...)

Anyways, since I currently don't have an regular income (the internship will pay with a stipend...in 6 weeks), that $40 extra bucks would be a great help. So get to bidding, kthxbye.

Sincerely,
lovespink88

Reminds me of a week ago when we had a 'guest' speaker at one of my ACP classes. It was a guy from one of the previous cycles, he was probably in his late 20s...and he was talking about how he kept the students engaged. He made a comment about how he likes to show Youtube videos, and then he says "yeah the kids get a kick out of the lady who ran her car into one of those Lube & Go stations while the pit was open.....YES ladies, it was a woman " (and yes, he did roll his eyes).

The men didn't know whether to laugh or not and the women were like WTF?

Yeah we tuned him out after that. My group was the closest to him, and us ladies were blatantly rude while he continued to speak. Douche

Everything was cool until Patti Labelle. Deference for ol skool but I didn't need her there.

*yes, plural*

No, I haven't seen the performance yet, but Patti doesn't seem like a logical choice for a Prince tribute.

First show went well, first performance is on the 5th in Bridgeport, CT.

I was going to go to bed. And then I saw To Catch A Predator was on.

Well, I'm up for a while.

I love the summer, and this summer is going really well, especially as nice as it's been. I really can't complain about the weather, at all. One thing I really do miss about the fall, though, is the Cider Mill. I love the cider mill. So, I'm actually kind of ready for this summer to end. It's just something about picking your own apples and drinking hot apple cider at the cider mill, in the fall.:)

I love when people who make bitchy, untrue comments tell YOU not to be a bitch when you clarify something you said. Bitch!!

Yep. There was a wedding scene. Aw, I wish you could've been in the movie. It wasn't very good, though. I hope your sinus surgery went well.:)

Check your PM. I saved some popcorn for you.:D

This is too much makeup for work. It looks like I'm trying too hard. And I feel like I am.

Ugh. Okay, CG. Tone it down and chill the heck out.

lovespink88 06-28-2010 03:11 AM

I probably could have handled that better. :(

If I don't find my Benadryl soon, I'm not going to have an arm left, from all the scratching! :(

I sat down at this computer at 1:15am. It is now 2:43am.

All I had to do was copy and paste some text from one powerpoint to another, and then save it to my mother's flash drive.

I have restarted the computer once and completely cut the power source to it once. I am now attempting to attach the files to an email b/c one flash drive is now magically write protected and the computer won't read the other.

The email just sent. Thank the Lord.

I am seriously ready to take a sledgehammer to this sack of shit.

I want to go to bed.

ETA: Not happy about my dad watching an infomercial about vibrators... has been for a bit now.

christiangirl 06-28-2010 03:52 AM

^^^I want to go to sleep and can't because I'm entirely too anxious. This feels like the night before a final or a job interview. Come on, girl....Breathe, stretch, shake, let it go (to bed). :p
