:) I would be pissed if my man took me to DisneyWorld as an adult trip (not a family trip with children). LOL.

Take me overseas to some all inclusive resorts or to some wineries and nice hotels/bed and breakfasts in the mountains.

I'd rather go camping in beautiful peaceful Michigan over the aggravating rip off hell hole that is disneyworld.

DrPhil 06-17-2010 11:50 AM

I don't mind camping as long as I have heat, running water, a bathroom, and no exposure to bears and other dangerous wild animals.

Yes, such camping/wildlife options do exist for the unadventurous of us all. :)

Yess!! I made the mistake of doing this in 4th grade! In my homeroom/science class, we had our own lockers inside the class, and one day i put my coat in there and for months after the gross smell stayed in there! lol. The bad part was I shared my locker with a friend and she had to encounter the smell everytime she opened the locker too.

GC...what the hell is wrong with these new people???

sidebar: Songs are getting less creative when I hear someone say:

"I'm like Fred Flintstone, I can make your Bedrock."

Uhhh, whut???

That is more creative than "Eenie Meenie Miney Mo Lover" and having pretty much the actual rhyme in the song!

What? Going without kids is 1/2 the fun!!

I just hate it when people drag a gang of <4 year olds and wondering why they are all miserable!

Sorry but I gotta say, you have to enjoy Disney at least once as an adult without kids...

My nephew went with us last year for Christmas and he had a blast!

Shockingly, he still has the 2 toys he got while there (although he has broken up much of what he got for Christmas).

When customer service and company follow-through suck, why should customers trust you all to do your jobs? Why shouldn't customers get annoyed and talk shit to you all? It doesn't matter if you are getting punished for something that YOU didn't do, you represent the company and all of its minions. That's what happens when customers have to catch your company's mistakes and also catch when your company doesn't correct its mistakes like it promises to. Pay me for doing your job, bitches.

I now officially know someone who was murdered. :( Young guy my husband and I both know/knew, shot in the head last night. I saw it on the noon news and had to call my husband to tell him. We haven't seen him in a while, so very sad. Just kind of a stunned disbelief.

Kappamd 06-17-2010 12:57 PM

I don't camp. At least not in tents. I am, however, making a camping exception in the next couple weeks to serve as a counselor for kids with diabetes. Should be.....interesting.

And we both agreed on Disney. I think Disney is love it or hate it, and we both happen to love it. Neither of us has been since HS, and never with each other, so we're really looking forward to it. But, that's us. :)

I believe it prudent to point out this is more ironic than Alanis Morisette being stabbed by 10,000 spoons.

Why would anyone do that?

So many French jokes, so little time.

Probably a case of shopping different stores. The reason I end up having to spend more, though usually still on off-brands, is because so many of the store brands are built for girls with no hips, no chest and who want to show their stomach every time they move.

Old Navy and similar style Ts can sometime be layered to good effect but they're pretty worthless otherwise.

Still too expensive or too hard to get to most of the time.

I only have Old Navy t-shirts and tanks for field work, since I get them on sale for less than $2 at times. They get horribly stained with the iron rich soil and I don't feel bad if I have to burn them later.

And you people who hate camping, THANK YOU! Means more space for me out in the wilderness, and I'm not afraid of bears.
