Because I don't listening to you gossip about people i will never meet or complain about everything under the sun doesn't mean I am unsocial. It means I like actually having CONVERSATIONS. As in you say something and I listen and you listen when I say something. Not i say two words and you cut me off to go off on at tangent that is completely unrelated to anything.

I didn't have to stay up until 1 AM waiting for you to come back to campus.
I didn't have to help you lug your crap to your dorm in freezing cold weather. I didn't have to invite you to my club's party because your friends ditched you. I didn't have to listen to you gripe about your roommates and keep the secret, when I'm friends with them too. I didn't have to help you with papers, homework and whatever else you needed. I didn't have to go out of my way to be a caring individual, to treat you like the princess you were and are. Remember that when you're with him. |

I cannot make a decision about what to do with my cable/internet/phone. I have Wowway right now for all three. They are coming out today to add HD and take away my phone line. My previous bills were around $161.00 for all three (with two premium movie channels, extra digital box, etc.). I have had them for YEARS now and use my wow email address for everything. My kids use their Wow email addresses for everything too. They said my new bill (because they've added rental fees for extra boxes and the cable modem) will be $151. Seriously? I'm getting rid of a land line and saving only $10?
Comcast came knocking on the door yesterday offering everything I have now, plus HD DVR, AND phone, with more HD channels and better On Demand for 94.99 a month. That price is guaranteed for a year with a guarantee that it will only go up $20 next year. I've had bad experiences with Comcast before, when I cancelled them before, years and years ago. I have always sworn I'd never deal with them again. However.. with a savings of almost $60 a month and more services than I have now, aren't I an idiot not to switch? The two main things making me NOT want to switch are: 1) the hassle of changing email addresses for EVERYTHING.. seriously, everything and 2) my previous hatred of Comcast. Seriously cannot decide what to do. Ugh! |
Gahhh UCSC has bid day today (informal) and I wish I was there! Maybe I should make a trip to Santa Cruz this weekend...hmm...they better at least take a ton of pictures!!

Uverse is available in the next town over, but not here. I just spent an hour changing my phone number and email address on every account I can think of. I'm going to use gmail for everything so I can make these changes more easily in the future. I'm biting the bullet and going with Comcast. I can't pass up $50 a month savings...

I took a sip of Snapple and it dribbled down my chin and onto my shirt. It was cold and, when I gasped in surprise, the Snapple in my mouth went up my nose. This made me choke, which caused me to cough and more Snapple dribbled out onto my pants.
I don't think I've ever had a fail this big...... |

Age does not always impart wisdom nor maturity. Sometimes it just makes you fat, wrinkled, bitter and lonely.
