So is it good when a boy says "So I saw a cow and thought of you."?

Haha, well, I do work in the dairy industry and I was the dairy princess.

He also just told me he was at a Nats game and thought about me. (He took me to a game a while back.) Does this mean anything? He's a printing sales rep so is he just trying to get my business? (He got tickets from work for the game.)

He might just want attention. But who knows.

He's a sales rep. End of story.

Why do I continue to like tools? grrr, mad at myself right now

I just sent the boy an email confessing my undying love for him. umm... oh noes.... hoepfully it had a t least a few typos so I can blame it on being drunk.

I can't decide whether I'm happy that his new gf is fatter than me and looks like a man... or sad.

Be happy that she is. Cause then everytime you see him, and you KNOW you look hot, you can have the satisfaction of knowing that he is probably drooling over you inside. And of course, the next time he sees his gf, he will unconsciously think how much hotter you are. Hehehe. :)

What is with my continuing attraction to boys who are already taken, and ONLY boys who are already taken?

Boys I would make out with right now:

1) J. #1, who has a girlfriend I don't really like
2) J. #2, who has a girlfriend I adore
3) Ryan Philippe, who has a wife

sigh.

I keep asking myself the same question!

My good boy news from the weekend:

I went out with my young frat guy from last fall this weekend. It was his birthday and he invited me out with him and his friends.

He was being a dumbass, and he pissed me off.... So I told him to do me a favor and never call me again! Then I deleted his number from my phone. See ya!

I have to say I was proud of myself for that. And James, you should be too cause you heard all that drama last year! :D

Hooray for date nights. First date night since being hospitalized. I hate his job.

Finally, a night not consumed with just the TV and shacking.

jess_pom 10-04-2005 09:58 AM

Was in charge of picking out a movie Saturday night. He suggested "The Longest Yard." Almost got "Monster In Law" instead.

I lost my engagement ring. I'm devastated, but my fiancé is handling it well. He even bought me flowers yesterday since I was bawling my eyes out. I've torn the place apart searching for it, but no luck. I looked down at my hand, and the ring wasn't there so I think it fell off my finger. I know that I had put it on that morning. I'm afraid that it's gone. I hope it turns up, but I doubt it. :(

Aww, sweetie I'm sorry!!!!!

It sounds like you have a sweet fiance though. :)

HotDamnImAPhiMu 10-04-2005 03:46 PM

What a shame - your ring was gorgeous.

Hopefully it's still in your house. Jewelry has a funny way of turning up sometimes. :)

DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT.

I know this is for the best because there won't be any hurt feelings or uncomfortableness or misunderstandings.

Then why do I feel so incredibly empty and hurt inside?

UKDaisy 10-10-2005 11:21 PM

why do I still like this stupid a**hole? he's a jerk. But I keep holding out hope that he'll come up to me and we'll end up talking again. I'm stupid.

DolphinChicaDDD 10-11-2005 10:55 PM

I invited boy I smooched exclusively for a month straight 6 years ago and haven't talked to in 4 years(before we spoke 2 days ago-ish) to my birthday. He said he would love to come. Then I started getting butterflies for some reason. Even though I hadn't seen him in 4 years. So my friend suggested I google him and see if there is a picture. And I did. And he is still cute.
Then I had a dream last night I moved down South with him, on the condition that I get to drive half way to Atlanta from wherever we are to meet my friend who lives in Marietta every weekend to shop.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN OH GODS OF DATING??

James 10-11-2005 10:58 PM

It means you secretly have a fear that you are beginning to be trapped into a monotonous life . . . a career where its an everyday grind of sameness for thirty years where you end up alone eaten by wild animals . . ala Bridjet Jones.

Ah, James. You always have the most interesting relationship ideas.

Ok, so my cute happy hour boy has shown the first signs of weirdness. The guy knows less about college football than I do. And let me tell ya, that is a tough thing to accomplish.

I didn't think it would be possible to find a man in Texas who doesn't know that the OU/Texas game is played in Dallas. But apparently I have found one.

I just find that weird.

And, is it weird that I find someone less attractive because of something like that?

It means you don't really like him at all. You're more or less looking for an excuse to not like him.

You know, I never thought about it before, but you could be right..... The times we've hung out, I've had fun and enjoyed talking to him. He's cute, and he's a good kisser.... But there was never that "WOW" spark moment. Shrug. Oh well.

Thanks! :)

I am a big college football fan and always find it odd and unattractive when a guy knows less about it than I do. But that's never stopped me from dating them. lol

CUGreekgirl 10-13-2005 11:49 AM

How do I manage to always end up with the best friends of the guys I crush on?

emleepc 10-13-2005 05:35 PM

It's a curse that so many of us have.

sugar and spice 10-13-2005 11:22 PM

Somebody needs to tell girls that if you're afraid that another girl is trying to steal your boyfriend, the inappropriate reaction would be to start nagging your boyfriend when he hangs out with that girl, asking him why he doesn't stay in with you instead, and on the whole just becoming a pain in the ass. This will backfire, since you will become the shrewish girlfriend and she will become the fun girl he would rather be hanging out with.

Also, honey, I am not trying to steal your boyfriend.

I'm far too busy trying to steal some other girl's boyfriend to do that.

jk jk!

UKDaisy 10-15-2005 12:01 AM

I HATE JP!!! For starters all during Midnight Madness I have a clear shot of him flirting with this other girl. Who, I think, is not all that cute. Plus, she's werid!!!

emleepc 10-17-2005 11:59 AM

I finally let out the words I've been holding in for several months--the boy was forced to listen this time! Of course, it helped that I'd had a significant amount of liquid courage........

Lindz928 10-17-2005 12:31 PM

One of my sorority sisters invited me to a BBQ yesterday because she said there was a guy she wanted to introduce me to. She ended up not being able to come, but I went anyway with a friend. I met a cute guy and we hit it off so I gave him my phone number. Turns out it was the guy she wanted to set me up with. Crazy. :)

DolphinChicaDDD 10-17-2005 06:01 PM

$10 says I'll never hear from the boy who took my number on Saturday night.
But thats okay.

Deja vu sort of. Such guilt!

UKDaisy 10-18-2005 03:48 AM

I can't sleep b/c I"m thinking about a stupid boy who could prolly care less about me. :(

CUGreekgirl 10-18-2005 12:28 PM

You dumbass... did you not realize that I was eventually going to find out you have a gf.

You were the one who made out with me at the bar, where half your friends were. Do you also not realize that we have many friends in common?

Don't get mad at me b/c your stupid behind got busted. I didn't tell anyone... but making out in the bar and you driving my truck home isn't exactly being discrete.. dumbass.
