The thing is I'm not actively pursuing a relationship as it is going to detract from my life plans, plans that were already put aside or on hold because of relationships and their aftermath. Maybe I will meet someone, but that doesn't mean our lives will be copacetic. I'm going to move in the next year, temporarily live somewhere, then I plan to move again and that is hard enough for a relationship without my field work taking me away for months.

My trust issues aren't just about my partner, they also reside with me. Not that I've ever been or would likely be a cheater, I need to be able to trust myself to make the right decisions and follow through for me and what I want out of life.

Mr. KDR decided to go rock climbing tonight instead of hanging out with me. He's trying to prepare for the comp season in the fall. I tried to explain to him that if he doesn't come over tonight, we didn't really get a long weekend together. Normally, it's Friday night, Saturday day and night and part of Sunday. If he comes over tomorrow it's Saturday night, Sunday day and night and part of Monday. NOT A LONG WEEKEND. IT'S THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME.
