I don't know if this has been shared already, but a few days ago I saw a FB post for Chapman University's Panhellenic Counsel. They will be holding presentations next month for a new sorority. We added our Epsilon Nu chapter there in 2010, so it's nice to see that greek life is expanding there once again!
Here are the dates/orgs they listed. Tuesday, April 24 – Delta Zeta Wednesday, April 25 – Pi Beta Phi Thursday, April 26 – Kappa Kappa Gamma |

At UCLA, both Gamma Phi and KD were the Alpha Iota chapters. /end of fun facts. |
I did find out that Phi Delta Theta at Texas State has lost its charter - http://star.txstate.edu/node/5103
but no news yet about which sororities are going to present. |
Congratulations to Phi Mu they have been invited to colonize at California State University, Northridge. This will be their second chapter in California.

I saw a Gamma Phi Beta announcement today that we have been invited to present at Santa Clara University in May.

Go Gamma Phi!

I hope that's good news. And I hope this is old news: http://www.scu.edu/studentlife/osl/greekstatement.cfm |
This is very confusing. I read (ok, I skimmed) the documents about the study they did about whether sororities and fraternities were good or bad for the university. They determined they would no longer support the Greek system, but on the other hand, there were 3 sororities on campus at the time, one since closed and 2 have come on since then.
So is this one of those campuses where there is a Greek system but it is not endorsed by the school? |
Yep.

By the way, congratulations to Phi Mu on the CSUN expansion! I was hoping that all of our alumnae and chapter presence near campus would help Gamma Phi, but it's also exciting that Phi Mu is getting an opportunity to expand on the west coast. |
