DC: NaNoWriMo Write-In - November 17, 2pm-6pm

The Beta Chapter of Gamma Xi Phi Professional Arts Fraternity cordially invites all Washington, DC area writers to participate in our Write-In for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) on Sunday, November 17, from 2pm to 6pm at “The Stone” – 1363 Otis Place NW, Washington, DC. This is an easy walk from the Columbia Heights Metro and steps away from the 52-54 bus line. Limited parking is also available.

This will be a great, quiet four hours for you to write in peace and focus on your word count goals.

There will be electrical outlets for your laptops, but no wi-fi so that you may focus!

One day I will again attempt to conquer NaNoWriMo, but sadly it will not be this year. I'm much more likely to take on No Shave November :)

I need a lot of planning time before I just sit down and write and often November is the worst time of year for me to do that. In 2014, I will be using January as that time.

Maybe I can join you for NaJaWriMo. I don't have a book yearning to get out so maybe I'll just journal.
