Directory of Locals?
I remember reading this board awhile back and finding a directory of local GLOs. I believe that particular one is defunct now. Does anyone know of any sort of national listing/directory of locals?

Do you mean of active locals or defunct locals?

I don't, but we should start one! We could probably do it in a Google Docs spreadsheet. It wouldn't be very pretty, but it would be a useful resource nonetheless.

There was a website once...it was something simple like localgreeks.com or some thing. But I agree! We should start one. I would even post about different orgs on my website if they provided a history and such. :)

Found it! Www.greekpages.com.

The bad part of greek pages is that it doesn't appear to have been updated in awhile. Many of the links are broken or the pages are gone or groups went defunct.
Anyone know who ran or runs this site? |
You know I think we should attempt to make a local glo directory with the history and link to each one. It would be a great undertaking but it would be fun...plus I do all the research on the side every day anyways...

I have already begun to make a new directory of old locals and all the groups ever listed in the old Bairds manuals. I think adding all the new locals would be good, assuming they have proper information and willingness to be included. Sounds good to me. There was an old website that had listed dozens of groups, but i don't think it works anymore.
