Sort of quick question?
 

There is a Phi Sigma Sigma chapter down the street from my college. We have four colleges within 15 minutes of each other. In the 1980s, this Phi Sigma Sigma chapter had members from my college and theirs. Do you know if Phi Sigma Sigma has a policy against this? I have emailed the chapter expressing an interest in their group and asked questions but never got a reply.

So my question is, does a potential member have to be a student of the institution in which the chapter belongs to?

Not a Phi Sigma Sigma, but I will tell you that things were a LOT looser in the 1980s. What was done then isn't necessarily anything that can be done legitimately now.

Not a Phi Sigma Sigma either, but I'm pretty sure there is a Unanimous Agreement that members must matriculate at the institution at which the chapter is located.

Also not a Phi Sig, but my chapter does have students from both universities in the city. However, it was adjusted that way by international quite some time ago. Perhaps there is a way to contact their headquarters (although I suggest that with great hesitation)?
