Sen's Revenge 05-12-2020 05:54 PM

Hey folks.... ladygreek has been on my mind. Just wanted to share an article from last August about how she lived her life: https://www.startribune.com/sharon-c...-69/557928352/

Sen, thanks for sharing this with us. Such a nice tribute that you posted about ladygreek.

So late to this discussion, but did have something I wanted to also share.

I believe that ladygreek knew how much we all loved her. As a humanist, she was not so much into church, but she was into the idea of energy. And in that spirit I say, to all of you who loved her, let's now love one another, and send that healing energy to her family and close friends as they lay her to rest.

I'm reminded of a post on GC from ladygreek, in response to a happy birthday thread for her, where she expressed her feelings about all who she met on GC. When I first saw that post many years ago it was an indication to me of the impact that GC was having, so I always remembered it. And now it seems appropriate to share here:

I am the one who is truly blessed for having the chance to "meet" all of you on GC and for your acceptance of this seasoned youngun. :D It's been a trying last few months with the loss of my mother, but even then GC helped me through it.

To CT4, the feeling is mutual.

Love you all!

Thank you for sharing the above, John! I think we all appreciate seeing the bigger picture. Ladygreek was special.

The big picture.. I think that's even more important today as many of us are heading into our first virtual convention in the midst of COVID.

Hoping all my fellow Greeks have a great weekend, value the time we have "together", and keep pushing for a better tomorrow.

RIP ladygreek
