I am a little confused. I remember when UT-Martin and University of Tampa were chartered, their petitions and the call for votes was on the HQ website. I do not remember seeing anything for either Mizzou or George Washington. Has something changed in the process of installing new chapters?

re charters do not require chpter vote only EC

The colony at the University of Ottawa will be chartered Nov. 19-20. They will be the Lambda Theta chapter. Congratulations to the new members of Sigma Chi.

Um.

They're already using the Sigma Chi crest on the SFU Greek Life website. That appears to be jumping the gun a bit.

This just doesn't strike me as a "Sigma Chi" type of campus, Shuster or not. He went to Pitt, not SFU, and with his pork record anything he "sponsors" kind of makes me look askance. Oh and he hasn't been a congressman for a while, his son was elected to his seat when he resigned. I know he's your bro but it is what it is.

The colony at the University of Chicago will be re-chartered on March 25-26, 2011. It will be the Omicron Omicron Chapter. Welcome back it only took 58 years!

The interest group at Carnegie-Mellon is now a colony. They have chosen the name Sigma Chi Alpha.

Not a colony, but the Radford University chapter has completed a 2 year probation and is now officially recognized by the school.
