ALCOHOL FREE HOUSE RUSH IDEAS!
 

This will be the first semester that my chapter will ahve to rush with an alcohol-free housing environment (year-round, not just during rush). We are the 3rd out of 10 chapters on our campus to do it, ours being the largest of the three. We also just finished (October '99) our brand new house.
Any good ideas on how to keep rush numbers up?

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not, unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "Press OIn" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.

The latest trends that I have noticed have been with sororities and fraternities offering more leadership, community service, and campus involvement oppurtunities. Stress the importance of this issues and the bond of your brotherhood. Also, I know it may sound a little cheesy, but it really is a lot of fun, try theme parties. I don't know exactly how you did rush before, but it's just a suggestion. My entire campus is dry as is the town that we are in. We have a great greek system and our numbers are still really good. Thanks for your help with rush ideas too. One of my sister's knows a bunch of FIJI guys at miami u. What school do you go to?
