For the most part, recs come from alumnae, not current sisters.

^^^this and also to add, if you do a google search on getting recs. you'll find several posts on suggestions on where to find recs. You can ask former teachers, church members, reach out to cousins, and aunts you never know someone in your extended family might have been greek.

And once you find an alum to write a rec, ask her if she knows alums in other sororities on your campus.
