We require that all NMs have an alumna rec before initiation eventhough PNMs aren't (always) required to have a rec to get a bid.

Actually I got an answer on this...so moe.ron if you want to delete the thread go ahead. The "recs" are only used for the colonizing period and even if there's a guy who doesn't have one, the national officers will check him out and if they like him he's in.
The thing that confused me is it was sounding like the Masons, i.e. you couldn't apply, you have to wait for someone to recommend you, and I was wondering how on earth a colony was going to get off the ground that way. |
