Are you going?

I just found out I was selected to go as an alumna participant! Yippee! They have a lottery and randomly pick 80 alumnae from everyone who applied. I literally just found out about 5 minutes ago.

There will be representatives from all 137 chapters. I believe new chapters can send two members. I guess Eta Omicron is the only one this year. So cool!

Congrats!! I have heard great, great things about Leadership Academy! You are going to really enjoy it! Say hi to the Gamma Nu KKGs that attend.

Congratulations! You're going to love it!! I was selected to represent my chapter at LA a few years ago and it was an amazing experience I'll never forget. You get to meet so many amazing women, young and old... and experiencing that "Kappa bond" with each one is incredible.

It's so funny that this thread just popped up, because just a few hours ago I was talking to the sister selected to go from my chapter. She was just initiated on Saturday but knows she wants to get involved as an officer next fall, which is great. She was just notified that she was nominated by Council for LA and she seems really psyched! She's a great girl - maybe you'll see her there! Be sure to look out for the sister from Eta Epsilon! :D

^^^ Yeah, I thought you went! I know some people (chapter sisters and alumnae) who went and loved it. I know I'll probably know some of the national type people who will be there. I'm excited to see them again as well as meet Kappas from EVERYWHERE!

Congrats Lucy! The sisters that were sent from Lambda while I was an undergrad had an amazing time, and I was always jealous I never got to go. :p
