Coming up on three years as an advisor- which I know is a drop in the bucket compared to some alumnae!!- and it's amazing some of the things that I've actually said to myself :D I love being able to give back to our local collegians, but sometimes you have to shake your head!

Great article and very true! I've advised in some respect for about 20 years (or close to it anyway!). I do appreciate when I have chapter members that listen to me and do respect the advice and opinions I give them.

It makes the world of difference to me if they are even just listening to me! I've come to realise that I don't think that when I was a collegian everything we did was "right" or "best", but it may be a different way to handle things that they hadn't considered! Thank you for reading :)
