Did you ever try to take one for a walk?

No, I haven't. Would it be one of those cases where the bump would walk me instead of me walking a bump?

texas*princess 03-25-2006 01:32 PM

Are they made out of Pet Rocks.
(Is there anyone here old enough to remember pet rocks?)

I remember people talking about them. What are they?

Gee, a bump that may have some actual social value.

Uh, no, maybe not.

Anyway, Pet Rocks were this amazing marketing gimmick back in about 1975 or so.

You could buy a little rock in a nice little cardboard box with airholes in it and some of that shredded paper like hey wrap small fragile things in that kind of looks like a loosly organized bird's nest.

They sold millions of them. People gave them as gifts and all sorts of other stuff.

It proves the old adage about suckers being born every minute.

But they were fun in a totally useless way.

honeychile 03-27-2006 10:59 PM

Ouch!

AlphaFrog 03-28-2006 07:15 AM

We brought pet rocks back for a while in 5th grade. Until the school banned having pet rocks on or in your desk. You would think the school admin would have something better to do then ban rocks.

ROFL.

.....Unless the kids started to throw the pet rock:confused:

KatieKate1244 03-28-2006 08:44 AM

I think I'm a little young to remember the pet rock craze.

OP, thanks for the bump. But it isnt house trained. It pooped on the carpet.

DeltAlum 03-28-2006 09:53 AM

Look closer.

Bumps don't poop -- the "grind" it out.

Whatever "it" is.

AlphaFrog 03-28-2006 10:05 AM

I almost don't know what to say to that...so I'm just going to say:

BUMP

honeychile 03-28-2006 10:12 AM

A new "I would so much rather be back home in bed" bump.

AznSAE 03-31-2006 10:38 AM
