Hellllo Kappas!

I'm on the Philanthropy Committee for my chapter and we are looking into hosting a different spring philanthropy event than usual this year. Normally we do Kappa Klassic (golf tournament) and Kappa Kickoff (flag football) but we're open to new ideas and I was hoping to hear about some of the events other chapters were hosting.

My chapter held a car show a couple years ago and called it "Cars, Keys, and Fleur de Lis." For the venue, all we had to do was reserve a field on campus. I think we charged $10 per car entry and then we sold food vouchers and had raffles. We had a bunch of categories that people could enter their car into including junk cars lol Then anyone could stop by and they were given a voting card so they could go around and pick their favorites in each category, the winners were given trophies at the end of the night. I know we had actual prizes too, but my memory is a little hazy. Hopefully you get the idea haha But it was really successful the first year, I think we had over 100 cars entered.
