yeah i realized that after i hit post. =P
they WERE repainting the letters each year, bc the ones in the first post were the ones we used when i was there, but my last year they were solid blue with a white trim, nothing fancy. from recruitment pics it looks like fall 2009 was the last run for that set. i definitely like the new ones better.

These are more formal looking. I think they'll be more versatile.

The artistic talent these chapters have is amazing! Some of the letters are so good it looks like a printed pattern.
