New here - daughter rushing at USC

Welcome. USCe or USCw?

USC in California. Rush starts this weekend. They have moved to deferred rush, so this is the first time freshman can rush. I guess this year they had a formal recruitment in the fall for transfers/2017 Spring Admits, but starting next year it will be a single primary recruitment in January.

Good luck to your daughter, NGM. I'm interested to see if more or less freshmen sign up this year than in past years when recruitment was at the beginning of fall!

It will be interesting. My daughter may not have done rush if it were not deferred as she wanted to adjust to school first, so maybe it will be more? I don't even know how there would be a way to know even once it starts.

I think I will start a thread in the recruitment area because I do have questions! Thanks for the welcome!
