KD no longer asking chapters to ask permission to release legacies
 

I saw a few days ago where AOII was getting rid of the legacy policy to further inclusion. While KD didn’t really have an official legacy policy, they used to all chapters to give a bit of extra consideration to legacies. HQ says they won’t have to ask for permission to release legacies now.

DG has done the same...and a couple of others. Hearing more by the end of the month

Serious question: any GC number-crunchers know how many NPC groups have taken recent steps to change their legacy policies?

I don't know if we ever had to ask permission. I know that a bunch of sororities haven't for years. They'd be overcome with doing all this in some areas--like in the Southeast, the ADPis and Zetas and Phi Mus would have to spend days attempting to drop legacies because of all of them that they have here.

My chapter already has far more legacies rushing this year that we have spaces for.
