After investigations by administration at Tufts University(MA), the following sanctions have been handed down:

Theta Delta Chi- closed; cannot petition to return until 2027

Delta Upsilon and Zeta Psi- suspension until Sept. '18

So, maybe Tufts will have a formal sorority recruitment in January?

In addition to the charterings this past weekend noted a few posts above, Kappa Sigma rechartered its Pi-Theta Chapter at Coastal Carolina University.

Sigma Chi has loss recognition at Brown University(RI). Loss of recognition is due to events that occurred at a party in October.

Delta Tau Delta has closed their chapter at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. Closure is due to RMF.

The Brown and White is Lehigh University's newspaper, not Brown's. This is Lehigh's chapter that's lost recognition through 2020.

You are right. My mind flipped "The Brown and White" to be Brown University.

Sigma Phi Epsilon at Grand Valley State University has apparently been kicked off campus.

Alpha Xi Delta has chosen to withdraw from presenting at Grand Valley State University(MI).

This article highlights some of the issues we've been talking about on GC -- the potential for groups to "go underground" after they've been officially de-recognized and the fact that the culminating incident involved a 21-year-old legal drinker/initiated brother who fell, sustained a concussion, and was taken to the hospital by two sober brothers. They are questioning being punished for "doing the write thing" and getting him the help he needed. Although the headline says "hazing" was the issue, this doesn't appear to be a hazing incident.

I think LaneSig posted that AXO withdrew due to concerns about housing availability.
