Fundraising
 

Hi Sigmas! I was wondering what kinds of events you do for fundraising. Our chapter is in need of funds but it just seems like no one wants to do the ideas that have come up. Any ideas would greatly help. Thanks girls.

we do car washes and we also just did a fishing game at the fair in our county. You threw the line over and got a grab bag aka "FIsh". we got everything donated like candy and small toys that you would find in like happy meals and such. we charged a dollar and it was a great thing and easy as long as you have people to work!

sautrisig who are you.. im in the sau chapter too

also go check with local restraunts ( like pizza hit) they gave us coupons to hand out and we get 10% of all sales made and all the tips ( we bussed tables)
im trying to plan a movie marrathon with a local movie theater ( friend with the owner)

but like sautrisig said we got everything donated... if you go ask a biz. for donations and in exchange tell them that we will give them some advertisment ( signs, etc.) most will go for that. Me and my lil sis were incharge of a basketball spirit night and we got almost $300 dollars worth of gifts and prizes.
