Pi Kappa Alpha Boys? Come on, everybody- What do you think of PIKES? I go to FSU, where they are the biggest and (One Of the) most popular Frats on Campus. Although everybody pleads to go to their socials and date Functions, they have kinda a "Hottie *%$hole/ Stereotypical Frat Boy" Rep- maybe cuz they were kicked off campus for 12 years, only to come back and be the best? :D

I know they are huge out there. We got one of their rush brochures and its amazing. Its the kind of chapter we strive to be like. We arent huge here at OU. Just a medium sized chapter since we got into trouble about 10 years ago. But they are a good chapter. Never met any Pikes from there but all i know is they are one of our top chapters. If you have a problem hanging out with them because they are "typical frat boy stereotypes" then the only advice i can offer is dont hang out with them.

All I can say is gotta love them Pikes.They are always sweet, not that the rest of you aren't sweet , but just recently I met a whole bunch of Pikes and they were just soo nice and helpful.
So on that note, Gotta Love them Pikes, and Gotta Love allll my fellow greeks

Just wanted to be sure nobody got me wrong on my Pi Kappa Alpha post. I am dating a PIKE here and think the guys are a Helluva lot of fun- either despite or because of any stereotypes about them!!!!:) :eek:

The PIKE's on our campus were actually not recognized by the university for a while. They're kind of one of the lower key houses, yet they manage to rush well and are definetly social. They helped us out a lot when we were first trying to get on campus, showing us some of the ropes and stuff, giving us connections when we needed em so I'd say they're pretty good guys.

I worked with a PKA this summer for about three days. He seemed cool.

Some of my best friends in school were PIKEs, and the same holds true today even though it's been years since graduation! :)

Pikes In Florida
 

The Pikes in Florida seem to be the leaders, although there are a lot of really good fraternities in the state. At Florida State and at University of Miami the Pikes tend to be the football players.

Kansas
 

The Pike's at the University of Kansas got kicked off campus a few years ago.

I have quite a few buddies that are PIKES, all of the guys I played basketball with in HS are PIKES at UH, the love it. I love partying with them, but thats about all I can think of them being good at. They arent the brightest guys in the world, they are like the your typical "frat", not fraternity. Much love though, we dont have them at my school, unfortunately, or I might be one.

The PIKES on our campus are trying really hard to fix their rep because they have a sort of "bad boy" image. I know there were a few scandles back in the day about girls getting raped at their formals, but now they are consintrating on Phil and them seem to be doing better. I know they are a pretty good house down at the UA too, but I have only heard that from a sister who went to their formal.

Pike was kicked off our campus right before I pledged DZ and then they came back on later. Now they have just lost their house...I don't exactly know what that means for them. My school is losing fraternities. We just lost TKE (they were doing really stupid, irresponsible things) and I think that SAM left too. My school is strange in that we have only 6 fraternities that are big and active and there are like 6 more that do absolutely nothing and they never mix with anyone, nobody has been to their house, nobody knows anything other than the fact that they supposedly have a chapter...quite weird.

the Pikes at our school treat people like they are better then everyone else. Everyone should remember that we should treat each other with the greek love and remember we got to be in this together.
