How do I go about doing this?

Asking about D9 membership, even in the Greek Life section, is a big no-no. Just DON'T do it.
|
Please check the NPHC sorority forums on this site with information regarding membership. DO NOT publish anything in Facebook, MySpace, etc. Do not ask in the sorority forums. Discretion is the key.

Mind if I ask- why so verbotten to ask? I am in an NPC group, so maybe I just don't understand.
Also, I didn't think ZTA was in the divine 9....did I miss something? Confused by the response with the links. Also, since we are on the subjects, is it true NPHC GLOs have an AI process, but that it is VERY different from the NPC groups that do? Hope you understand my questions are really just for understanding and that I just love all things greek! |
It's Zeta Phi Beta, not (NPC) Zeta Tau Alpha.
NPHC groups have graduate membership. It is MUCH MU CH MUCH more common than NPC AI and yes, very very different. NPHC members (as a whole) are much more active after college than NPC or IFC members. As to why the verboten, I will leave that up to an NPHC member to verbalize better than I can (if they so choose). |

Pink and Green...the Zeta he speaks of is Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. not ZTA
And the reason why it's verbotten as you say, is DISCRETION is KEY |

I doubt you're going to get any responses to your questions, as NPHC membership intake processes are not discussed online. |

AGAIN!!!! I understand it is ZPB. BUT, why is it that a ZTA, not a ZPB, provided the links? Was confused on why ZTA became involved when I thought they were an NPC group. |

A great asset to ZTA and truly a woman who not only wears her letters, but lives them! |

How can an NPC member read up on NPHC groups? Any good books you can recommend? I love to learn about greek organizations. |

P&G: Do a google search for the NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Conference)*. You can learn about these groups (also known as the "Divine 9") from their web sites and other public information available online.
* National Pan-Hellenic Conference (NPHC) and National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) are two different conferences. |
