Music artist, Prince, dead at 57

One of the best concerts I've ever seen. My hips were sore for days after from dancing to every song. My group of friends who attended that show were all Greek alums: several Chi Omegas and AOPi, a DPiE and DTD.

So sad, what a talented artist, I never had the opportunity to see him in concert, but always liked his music. He was always evolving. May he rest in peace.

His music is forever integrated with my college memories. He was truly a musical genius. RIP

My mom is at the Red Sox game today and heard about his death from me. She said the organist just played Little Red Corvette and Let's Go Crazy in between innings. I have memories of listening to his songs with her when I was younger.

Very talented man. We will miss him.

He, along with a few other 1980s artists, brought back some serious dancing music after the desert years fo the 1970s and hard rock. Let's keep on partying like it's 1999!

I have a bottle of raspberry shower gel and was humming Raspberry Beret this morning. Much too young.

So sad.

MTV is playing Prince music videos. I am glued to the TV since they are playing some pretty obscure songs.

Mtv and Vh1 will be airing Purple Rain tonight and over the next couple of days.

A bit odd, but one of the most talented musicians of the last 40 years. It's a very sad day to lose him.
