Farmhouse - Local School's IFC

Is anyone here a member of Farmhouse and if so did your school ever join the local IFC? I've heard of a few stories where this has happened and I'd love to hear your experience.

While not a member of FarmHouse, on the campuses I am familiar with, every FH chapter has always been a member of the IFC.

And for what it is worth, FarmHouse has been a full member of the NIC since 1953. (FH was a junior member from 1944 until 1953 and dropped out from 1971 to 1981) As such, I would speculate that each FarmHouse chapter - if in good standing etc. - is/should be a member of their campus' IFC.

Tarleton State FarmHouse

When we first attempted our expansion to Tarleton State University in Texas we received all sorts of problems from the Greek Life office and the IFC. We were able to use the NIC's Statement of Position on Expansion to force the hand of the local IFC and the University. This allowed us an automatic acceptance and automatic seat in IFC. Sometimes you have to play rough even though it is generally better to play nice.
