Alpha Gamma Rho at Clemson will be building a new house on the same lot where its old house was. A pic of the old house (after the recent fire) accompanies the article (below) on the building plans. Best wishes with the construction!

I was gunna say I'd be embarrassed to claim ownership to that house, but I guess I can't really talk with my chapter's dinky ass house. lol

That picture is old. The DG house at UGA has actually looked very different for several years. It looks like a sandcastle to me, but it's supposed to look like a chateau:

It's different, but I actually like it :)

I like to call them architectural abortions. The AOII house at Ole Miss use to look awful before they redid the front in the 1980s. It was like this big square box they built in 1958. Older alumnae use to call it the taco hut.

Were they going for a vintage rennovated look with the yellow?

Here is a glimpse of what our new house looks like. I'm sure someone on here will post pics of all the new houses after the official opening of the village ;)

DrPhil:Were they going for a vintage rennovated look with the yellow?

I really do not know!!!! It looks like they decided on yellow brick rather then the traditional red brick that was used before the rennovation to match blue vinyl siding, or it could be good way to display the Fraternity colors.

I hear ya. :)

I love yellow clothes: purses, jewelry, and shoes. Bright and usually retro/vintage-y on purpose.

Yellow vehicles and buildings tend to be vintage no matter how much rennovating you do. I just hope it was an intentional look.
