Miss Mississippi USA, Laine Alden Mansour, is a KD at the University of Mississippi. (The chapter has a post on their Facebook page congratulating her.)

Fran's list says that Miss Tennessee USA, Alexandra Harper, is also a KD at Ole Miss. So that would mean chapter sisters are competing against each other! Did the chapter post a congratulations for her, too?

It's quite possible that one is an active and one is an alumna. The Miss TN USA has a mother who also held the same title and is a KD, too. And this reminds me that I need to find my list of the contests that took place after Thanksgiving and start doing some research.

Based on their ages per Wikipedia (Miss Mississippi is 20, Miss Tennessee is 24), I'm guessing this is the case.

Miss Delaware, Sierra Wright, is a Delta Zeta from West Chester University (PA). She has lots of photos of her with her sisters on her personal Instagram account.

Miss Alabama, Hannah Brown, is an Alpha Chi Omega from the University of Alabama. Also lots of pictures on her personal Instagram.

Miss Indiana, Darrian Arch, is also a DePaul Delta Zeta based on her Instagram.

Miss Nebraska USA, Sarah Rose Summers, is a ZTA from TCU. (This per her Instagram and LinkedIn.)

Miss Maryland, Brittinay Nicolette, is an Alpha Chi Omega from Lynchburg College in Virginia.

How soon is this contest, and is it televised?

Miss Alabama USA is from the same Alpha Chi Omega chapter as Miss Maryland USA 2016 Adrianna David, and Miss Nevada 2015 Katherine Kelley. I believe at some point they were members at the same time.

Miss South Carolina 2012 Ali Rogers, Miss South Carolina 2014 Lanie Hudson, and Miss South Carolina 2016 Rachel Wyatt were all members of my chapter at the same time:) Some chapters are very good at recruiting talented pageant competitors, it seems!
