Need Help 400$ IFC Recruitment budge
My IFC has 400$ Recruitment budget asking for more money is not an option and we need ideas of 2800 Dorm studnets. We were thinking Custom bandanas but that is to expensive. any ideas would be helpful.

What does your IFC usually do to facilitate recruitment?

With a $400 budget I wouldn't really push for customized anything. Unless the budget is strictly for give aways and doesn't include food, drink and entertainment. I would think young college guys would get more use out of mini footballs than a bandana.

$400? What is that money for?
If its for EVERYTHING...I would just say get a bunch of cases of cheap beer and some bottles of cheap shit and open the house up. Or have a pig roast/BBQ at the house. Have the brothers pitch in $5 or $10 each if you need it. They should be willing to. |
This is an IFC budget, not a fraternity's.
I would focus on just getting a lot of flyers and info out there. Get large color signs that give good information on when where and how to rush and explaining the advantages of greek life in a way that a freshman would understand. Leave it up to the fraternities themselves to give out free stuff. Maybe have keychains or something to give out during the day during rush and encourage freshman-looking guys to go out and rush and give them a flyer as well. |

You're budget is limited, and while you couldn't get many, you could get a few of those little plastic signs to stick in the ground, place them strategically on campus and around the entrances of dorms. Also you could do door hangtags and hang them on doors, or go in the resident parking at night and place flyers on the vehicles.
You weren't very detailed, but it looks as if you were trying to find like a little freebie to give each person, but at a budget of .14 a person, thats quite impossible really. I mean just go with whats worked in the past, different things work at different campuses. |
