This is an awesome story!

Thank you for sharing. I hope that Mr. Reid is doing well. I cannot but feel pride in his decision to attend college at that age and to join a fraternity. Good for him, truly. And good for the young men who accepted and treated him with dignity & respect.

I'm guessing that the leaders of Chi Phi and the undergrads at Virginia chose to waive the usual pledging requirements. It would be along the lines of an alumnus initiate.
