Another reason to go Greek!

Middle of the night FB conversation between sorority sisters in different parts of the country.

Sister A works in x industry.
Sister B casually mentions if there are any jobs at her company.
Sister A says yes, as a matter of fact 1 just became open.
Sister B will have relative send in resume.
Then they signed off for the night(morning).

Earlier FB conversation between 2 chapter sisters in same state.
Sister A just got laid off.
Sister B will be leaving her job in 2 weeks and will let Sister A know when it is posted.

Don't know how it will work out but glad there is a way for folks to find out about jobs.

My Big Sis (AXiD) does contract work and my bio sister needed some work done, so I put them in contact and my Big Sis got the job! My bio sis said that she did a great job and was competitively priced, and will use her services the next time she needs them! It's nice to be able to give back to my Big Sis, because she's been so dang awesome!

I find Linked in to be effective.

I know someone who found her job on Craigslist! And it is a professional job- she has a doctorate- so it is not just some short-term gig.

Because craigslist is such a social networking site and your friend got her job through a sorority sister there?

This was such a random thread bump it almost seemed like spam.

I'm in a couple groups and someone noticed my comment, and I guess she clicked on my profile because I got a message from her (HR/Recruiter) offering me a job!
Also, one of my sorority sisters got her current job that way too! Someone just happened to come across her page.
