Berkeley IFC and fraternities lawsuit

I was informed that there's a settlement. I have not been given the details.

The article below will answer all your questions RE: the lawsuit.

My only question: Why would you move on fraternity row, sandwiched between 2 fraternity houses?

My grandparents lived on the block with several sorority houses, which wasn't much better because the fraternity guys were always over there! And they were on the main drag so there was all that typical college behavior around then 24/7 anyway.

I think you were right the first time. The article does say why they moved there:

"We first moved there in 1988, (the house) was my wife’s grandmother’s and my wife actually grew up there a period of her life and she always wanted to move back."

I think moving into a family's heritage home seems like a reasonable explanation for why they chose to live there.
