I have visited a social and chapter meeting. :)
 

They an amazing social at a member's ranch (!) last Saturday and I attended their monthly meeting last night. They are a great group of fun women. A friend of my son is a legacy that is considering joining was there with her mom. It was a nice surprise to have some sort of connection. I will be thrilled if they invite me.

Another chapter has contacted me and I hope to visit them in the next week or two.

I visited the second chapter's meeting last night. They were slightly smaller and the age range was less broad. Many of the members had known each other for 25-30 years. They were very friendly but not as warm as the first chapter. I was invited to their social at the end of the month. I will be able to get a better feel for them at that time.

I was unable to go to the second chapter's social because I had to go out of town.

I was starting to think that the first chapter had dropped me, but I got a phone call this morning and was invited to their meeting tonight! She thought someone else had already contacted me. This will be my third visit with them, which I figure is a good thing.

I attended another social last night and had a great time playing The Game of Things. There were only 9 of us and it was a great way for me to learn more names to go with the faces.

The president confirmed with me that I would be at the next meeting.

These ladies are so much fun! I have high hopes.
