Pledge/active icebreaker event ideas?
 

Hey everyone!

My sorority has a tradition of having a separate event between the pledges and each class of actives (soph, junior, senior). I'm in charge of organizing the event for the sophomore class and pledges, so I was wondering if anyone had some clever ideas!

This past semester our girls did a sleepover theme, a pitch perfect sing-a-long, and a movie night in pajamas. They were all kind of similar themes so I wanted to mix it up a bit for the next pledge class.

I do have a budget (though I'm not sure how much yet) so if something costs money it's not the end of the world.

I forgot the name of this ice breaker game but when my home chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota hosted their province's Province Day on the last rotation, we did this:

You'll need paper, tape that can stick well on fabric/clothes and writing utensils that will show up well so people can read stuff fast.

On each piece of paper, write a name of a celebrity/ important figure. They all need to be different.

When people arrive, assign each person a celebrity by placing the piece of paper face up and taping it on that person's back so they can't see it. The game is to have this person figure out which celebrity they are, so you can give hints and let them know if they are close. It's pretty fun. :)
