Depending on your cable provider you can watch on HBO Go. We have Insight and they didn't partner with HBO, but if your cable provider did, then you can download the app and watch using your Dad's account information for free.

I'm living in an extended stay hotel until the end of the school as I will be moving. The hotel has encore, not HBO. I'll have to check with my dad's HBO provider and see about watching it on my laptop. Otherwise, it's really not that big of a deal. As long as my brother (who is now into the show) doesn't ruin it for me, I'm okay. It's easy to avoid this thread. :D

Yeah, I can't watch it any more. Not right now, not while I have a baby who breastfeeds constantly. All the baby killing has gotten to me, and I've cried my damn eyes out the first two episodes. I'm done.

So what does everyone this so far of the season...
I was so happy about last week's episode...although, I will be upset if the Reeds don't show up in Season 3.... |

Mrs_Gwyn, you were so right!! Episode 5 was amazing. My favorite scene was the one where Brienne pledged her fealty to Cat. I teared up a little bit because their relationships is one of the most special ones in the series, in my opinion. It was very well done. The more I see of Brienne, the more I love her. I also enjoyed Dany's part of the episode. I feel like it was the first time all season where an episode really progressed her story line. The blue gown she wore was stunning. I was also amused by the Lancel scenes. Overall, perfect episode. I am starting to get a little bit tired of Jon Snow's constant whiny attitude and pouty face, though.

Ok, I just bought the book series today and I'm excited!
Too bad I have about three books on the pile ahead of them. |
And Theon Greyjoy has now replaced King Joffrey as my #1 character who needs to die soon!

I do not like the direction they are taking John Snow....
At first I am not liking how they've "gone off book" with the Qarth storyline...but I think I may rethink this...I have to see All I know is that they better do blackwater justice or I might have to stop watching! I'm one of those book purist type people...even though I'm loving Tywin/Arya scenes, also last night's scene between Tyrion and Cersei was brilliant. The last two scenes from last night's show...no word can describe it, I got chills. I think I like the direction of the Karstark/Jaime confrontation and I think I'm the only one who is neutral about Lady Cat |
